iTolc Kft was founded through the collaboration of the Webxam developer team and the largest Hungarian language school to offer government accredited language exams in Hungary.
With over 10 on-site exam locations across the country, iTOLC has become a leader in the market, commanding over 60% of the online proctored exam market share.
The primary goal for iTolc was to create Hungary’s first government-accredited computer-based exam system that would provide extra points within the educational system. This process required meeting very strict regulatory standards.
During the pandemic, a new challenge emerged – transforming the on-site exam process to a fully online platform that allowed secure language testing from home while maintaining the same integrity and reliability as in person exams.
